औषधीय उपयोग
आयुर्वेदिक जड़ी बूटी के रूप में एट्स के बहुत सारे स्वास्थ्य लाभ हैं। जड़ और कंद अतीस की दवा के रूप में उपयोग किया जाता है। यह स्वाद में कड़वा होता है। नीचे अतीस के कुछ स्वास्थ्य लाभ दिए गए हैं:

1. अतीस की जड़ों का उपयोग शिशुओं और बच्चों में बुखार प्रबंधन के लिए किया जाता है।
2. अतीस का उपयोग खांसी के इलाज के लिए किया जाता है।
3. यह वायुमार्ग में बलगम को पतला और ढीला करने में मदद करता है, जमाव को साफ करता है, और श्वास को आसान बनाता है।
4. अतीस शरीर से परजीवी कीड़े और अन्य आंतरिक परजीवियों को तेजस्वी या उन्हें मारने और निष्कासित करने में मदद करते हैं।

अतीस की खेती

फूल बड़े, हुड वाले, बैंगनी-सफेद रंग के होते हैं। कंद अंत में 3 सेमी लंबा, शंक्वाकार हैं। मां और बेटी के कंद जोड़े में होते हैं। बेटी कंद की प्रारंभिक पहली कली आकार में शंकु है।

जलवायु और मिट्टी

सबसे पहले, अतीस देश के पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में बढ़ता है (लेकिन 2000mtr -4000mtr से ऊंचाई पर)। हालांकि, उचित विकास के लिए पौधे को नमी की आवश्यकता होती है। पौधे को अच्छी तरह से सूखा-मिट्टी में बोया जाता है, खासकर पहाड़ों की ढलान पर। साथ ही पौधे पेड़ों की छाया में भी उग सकते हैं। पौधे की जड़ों के बीजों को बोया जा सकता है।

उत्पादन और भंडारण

हम एक हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र से लगभग 518 किलोग्राम कंद प्राप्त कर सकते हैं, सूखे कंद एयर-टाइट कंटेनर या लकड़ी के बक्से में रखे जाते हैं।

Flowers are large, hooded, violet-white in color. The tubers are up to 3 cm long, conical at ends. The mother and daughter tubers occur in pairs. The initial first bud of the daughter tuber is conic in shape.

Climate and  Soil 

Firstly, Atees is sown in mountainous regions of  country (but at height from 2000mtr-4000mtr). However, Plant of Atees needs moisture for proper its growth. Plant is sown in well draining-soil, especially on slopes of mountains. Also, plants can grow in the shade of trees. Atees is sow by seeds or roots of plant.

Production and Storage

Dried Tubers of Atees can be store in air tight containers or wooden boxes. Almost 518 kgs of Tuber is harvested from atees.

Note:  Because, most of species are poisonous, so handle with care.Use gloves for handling plants.
